The Managing an Extreme Network using EPICenter training class is designed to provide students with the ability to identify, describe, and use the features available within EPICenter v7.0 and understand how to manage a network comprised of Extreme Networks switches.
This is a one day introduction which covers all EPICenter related capabilities in overview and focuses on those elements that will be most used in a real-life implementation such as basic configuration using EPICenter scripts, event and alarm management, configuration and image management and EPICenter reports.
A student must have the following skills or knowledge prior to attending this course:
Extreme Networks ENA Level certification or equiva¬lent skills and experience
Knowledge of LAN fundamentals
Layer 3 routing and OSPF protocol theories
Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and static and dynamic routing
These prerequisites can be met by attending the NCO-NIS Networking, IP Routing & Security Concepts training class
Attending the ExtremeXOS: Operation and Configuration course is strongly recommended.
