Synopsis
This is 3 day instructor led course allows a delegate to install and configure the Avaya one-X Portal.
Practical hands-on exercises support the lectures to enhance the learning experience of the delegate.
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:

- • Install and Configure a Avaya one-X Portal Server and an Application Enablement Services (AES) so that integration to the following will function without errors :
- Active Directory
- Voice Mail
- Intelligent Presence Server
- • The delegate will be given supporting documentation and any additional guides that are appropriate.
- • The configuration of the Avaya Communication Manager will also be covered.
- • The delegate will be taken through a complete install of the above components, and then be required to rebuild the system so that it functions without errors.
- • There will be an additional open book theory exercise that will be passed by achieving a 70% pass mark.
- The course objective is to allow the student to gain the knowledge for a successful completion of the following on line assessments - AVA00912 AEN - one-X Portal 1.0 Sales and Product Overview Assessment, AVA 00914AEN - one-X Portal Implementation and Administration Assessment to complete the Avaya Authorisation on this product.
