This course is designed as an introduction to the features and administration of the Communication Manager system.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of PBX functions, features and basic PC skills
Testing and Certification
On completion of the training course there is a certified written examination, followed by a practical test
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
- Explain the functions of the hardware and software components
- Use DSA software on a PC, enabling access to the system
- Administer stations and feature parameters, call-forwarding, call coverage, abbreviated dialling lists, bridged appearances and coverage
- Create pick up groups, hunt groups and trunk groups
- Understand ARS, AAR, the dial plan and UDP
- Carry out toll analysis using COR, COS & FRL
- Administer maintenance changes & rectify minor faults/problems within the system
- Discuss available documentation and reports
