This course takes students through the administration, initialisation and maintenance of the MultiVantage Software.
The main hardware being used during the course, will be the S8300 Server, but references will be given to other software and hardware variants of the product to give the student an all round knowledge base.
The student will be taken from basic Administration to Networking (including VOIP) and Maintenance on the S8300 Media Server with the G700 Media Gateway. A Performance Lab on the last day concludes the class.
In addition, there will be a theory and practical day on the initialisation, connectivity and maintenance on the Avaya Cajun range of data switches including the P130 and P330.
Prerequisites
The course is aimed at entry level students, and as such has no prerequisites, although general telecomm or data industry exposure is advisable.
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
- There is a written certification and a practical test so that the course delegate can demonstrate a sufficient competence level of knowledge and understanding.
- The course objective is to allow the student to gain part of the knowledge for a successful completion of the ACA (Avaya Certified Associate) and will be given the opportunity of taking AVA 00839 AEN - IP Telephony for Implement Curriculum Assessment - to achieve this and to be able to intall and maintain the Avaya S8300.
